Management Tips
1. As you rise through an organization, your ability to ask the right questions become more important, than to know everything.
2. Positive Cash flow is more important than profit in the early stages of any enterprise.
3. MOVE FASTER. The laws of motion have not changed. What is in motion, stays in motion. What is not in motion, is not in motion.
4. Even if you want to deny it, you are first a sales and marketing organization, then you are whatever type of organization you think you are.
5. Hire Slow, Fire Fast.
6. I believe in an open Email policy. You can email me all you'd like with whatever problem you have, but you can not continually interupt me. My door might be closed during my peak hours, but I'm always available via Email. This might sound harsh, but read #7.
7.The quality of your profits are in direct proportion to your ability to manage your time, and the time of others....therefore, its probably worth it to study ways to make better use of your time.

2nd Update: Check Scanning
Software
Our
Houston office has been using the check scanner for two
months now with great results. With a trip to the bank
taking half an hour on a good day, and two deposits per
week, we are saving at least 4 hours each month!

Service Manager 5.4A is now available.
Service Manager 5.4A is fully
compliant with Sage Accpac ERP 5.4A. Remember that Service
Manager is written inside the SDK of Sage Accpac ERP
100/200/500 so version matching is critical.
Some of the new and updated features are:

All UIs have the new XP
style of user interface.

Support for all core 5.4A
modules: GL, AR, AP, IC, PO and SN.

All reports are Version
XI (11) of Crystal; the following parameters have been
deleted from all reports: PATH, EXT and SYSPATH.

Service Manager
documentation is now available from the Accpac desktop
Help menu: Help > Online Documentation.

All new features of the
Item pricing have been accommodated including pricing by
weight. Available pricing in the document now uses the
core finder.

Customer Item numbers
have been accommodated so you can enter a Customer's
Item code and Service Manager will locate the internal
IC Item number.
