Using Technology to Help with Time Management
1. Stop Printing Your Emails!
2. Why use the phone for routine follows ups, when you can use Email, which respects your customers time.
3. Thou shalt only have ONE business and ONE home voice mail box. If you have more than this, seek professional help.
4. Autoresponders are a great way to use Email auto-replies for commonly asked questions, which will free up you and your customer service folks from answering the same questions day in / day out.
5. Make it easy for your clients to buy from you electronically, via your website, fax order forms, voice mail boxes that take after hours orders, etc.
6. If you can, get a cell/pcs phone that has caller ID, so you can decide if its an important call to take, or a clown calling.
7. Lastly, if you have access to a PC all day at your work place, use a scheduling program, such as Accpac CRM, MS Outlook, or whatever you can get your hands on, to keep track of important things which must get done.

The Push to Vista
Now that Vista has populated the
market, it is becoming harder and harder to find a computer on the
shelves with Windows XP. Even online retailers are moving all
their sales to Vista installed computers. If you need to
replace a computer that runs Cyma or Sage, we can help you find one
with XP.
If, however, you have decided it is time to purchase a new PC we
can assist you with those steps. If you are unsure of what

One More Note
The new version of office (Office 2007) will only run in Windows XP
and Vista. If you are running Windows 2000, you will not be
able to install this new version of Office.

Update: Check Scanning
Software
There was mentioned in recent
newsletters a new product we will be offering. To deposit checks from the office
without a trip to the bank. Our
Houston office has set up a scanner and has
started scanning checks in order to thoroughly test out
the software and the interface with accounts receivable.

Cyma has just released an update for users
that are are currently at version 9.0 or higher. This update
is free to download for those who are current on their
Software Maintenance Plan.
The Version 9.2 update includes the 2007 Payroll Update and
should be downloaded by all CYMA Version 9 users regardless
of module status.
